  Attended Tiffin School from 1947 1956 Peterhouse College, Cambridge Economics & History 1959 to 1997 Secondary school teacher, mainly in Reading at James Theale Green Community School. Wrote and appeared in many of the schools musical productions. After retirement in 1997 "built an allotment empire" in Tilehurst and enjoyed a vast CD collection and European travel.
